Visual Studio .NET for Reporting Services
We have installed and are currently starting to evaluate Reporting Services.
I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if it matters which edition
(Enterprise Edition, Professional Edition, or Developers edition) of Visual
Studio you use for development purposes? Any assistance would be appreciated. ...

Install Issue - "IIS is either not installed or not configured for a server component installation"

Filters Top 5 showing more than 5 if a tie
I have a filter with the top 5, and if I have 10 items with the same top
value, it will show all 10. Is there anyway to cut this off show it just
shows 5?

Netscape problem
In IE report run is OK but when I open report in Netscape 7.1/7.2 page icon
on tool bar are disabled and export file type dropdown displays items but
clicking link next to dropdown does not take any action.

Excel Export Garbeled

I know that there is a find function available when viewing a report using
Report Manager, but when i export my report as html w/ web components that
feature dissapears. What can i do either keep that feature, or have a search

Report Parameter Selection aid fir user.

Am curious, have a report paramater the user selects from a pull down
list that is smart enough to go to the record containing the first letter the

Too much activity on SQL
When running a trace on Report Server I see a lot of hits to the server,
eventhough I'm not running any reports. Is there a way to configure that? For
example, I'm not running shedules or any jobs, so is there a way to disable
those features. That is if it going to reduce activity on SQL side ...

Problem with rendering tables
Hi,
I'm rendering 10 tables in one page in reporting services,
when one of the tables is empty, (say table 6) reporting services stops
rendering the other tables, so tables 6,7,8,9 and 10 aren't showed.
