I just installed sql 2000 and was going to install sp3a, but kept getting
errors authenticating to the sql server. During sql2k install, I selected
windows authentication. During sp3a install, I also tried using the sa

MSDE db instance installation
hello
please help:
I have app instatation program which wraps and installs msde (new db
instance) - it works fine
but how (after installing db instance) to restore a database which I have in
*.bak file (backup) - from my wrapper app
and I also want the db to be started up

SQL 2005 December CTP Setup Problem
Am trying to install sql 2005 December beta 3 pro 32 bit.
I have uninstalled everything resembling visual studio 2005 express, sql2005
etc. in sight.
