when I use the analysis manager to archive file from remote analysis
server. then get the error:Data source name not found and no default
driver specified.
but when I use it to archive file from other remote analysis server,is
success!
why?

Processing a Cube from an ASP.NET web service
I am trying to process acube from a Web Service.
I have referenced DSO, and on trying to Connect with
Server.Connect(connString) I get the message that connection was lost or data
is corrupt!
This same code works if called from a Win Form app. ...

Moving average / sum 30 day period
Hi,
Currently I'm developing a MDX query which should return the results
(average/sum) of the previous selected 30 days (rolling/moving).
However the problem is that my result set provides me with the days
available (with data) of a particular month.
I.e. October has 31 days, however the result returned ...

NULL Value in Distinct Count
Hi
I am doing a distinct count of a measure and at each level it is 1 more
than the count. Seems like it is counting NULL value also. Can someone
help me to solve this?

Getting max value of each year
Hi,
I have created a calculated measure to show the max value of each year on
each row:
Max({[Period].members},[Measures].[Revenue])
2003
Jan 2000
Feb 3000
Mar 4000
2004
Jan 1000
Feb 1500
In my case i get 4000 as the max and every row (in 2003 AND 2004) it shows

64,000 limit reached
I have the following:
329162 Accounts
329242 Cards
I can have 0-many cards to 1 account
I currently do not have more than 3 cards to 1 account
My dimension:
Accounts
----Cards
So my parent is Accounts and my children is cards.
I know MS OLAP limitation is 64,000 children members but I only have 3

Pre-Calculate a Measure
I know that Analysis Manager can set aggregation level for a cube. I
there a way to just pre-calculate (aggregate) only one measure, not the
whole cube?

MDX Question - Please Help
Hi,
My fact table has sales data down to transaction detail. Each
transaction can have multiple records. Each store can have multiple
transaction.
I want to get Transaction Count and Store Count. Since I cannot use two
distinct count in CUBES, please help me with MDX for calculated members.
